If you have an NVIDIA video card and Windows XP or 2000, check the registry key

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE
 \SOFTWARE
  \Microsoft\Windows
   \CurrentVersion
    \Run

and see if nwiz.exe is being launched on start up.

Introduction

A few Windows resource kits contained the sometimes very useful tool: forfiles.exe

It can be used to process large numbers of files automatically or in a script to delete old files, among other things.
